Dear Friends.

Thank you.  From the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful that we took this journey together.  We were not alone. As of Tuesday night, 113,135 voters in the San Fernando Valley walked with us to improve our public school system. We made progress in the late vote, but after analyzing 7 post-election updates, the math shows that we will not overcome the incumbent.

We campaigned boldly on the issues that mattered.  Our volunteers knocked on over 22,000 doors. We made thousands of calls and sent hundreds of thousands of text messages. We did it with all the heart and effort we could muster. Thank you for making this campaign possible.  

I called Scott this evening and wished him the best in his last term in office.  I look forward to staying in touch with each of you and I will always fight for our schools.
